The feathering shaft (also known as a spindle) on a dual blade helicopter connects the blade grips along a rotating center axis. In an accident it can become bent. A damaged feathering shaft won't allow the blades to track properly. The OMPHOBBY M1 helicopter won't fly well with a bent feathering shaft and it could become a hazard.
